Faith – the reality of things hoped for; the proof of what is not seen. It is faith that moves us into action. Mary had faith that she would bear God’s Son, even though she was a virgin – so she believed the impossible. Joseph had faith that God was directing him to take Mary as his wife, even though she was already pregnant – so he did not leave her. The wise men and the shepherds believed the prophecy of the Messiah, and they were moved to go and find Jesus when He was born in Bethlehem. Let us put our faith into action this Christmas!
